About Reeking Slug

Heavy Stoner Doom with a twist of Punk | Based Reno, NV

Formed in July 2022, Sarah and David began riffing in a living room, evolving into Reeking Slug. Max joined in early 2023, adding firepower to their sound. By 2024, the band began playing shows locally and in 2025 into surrounding regions.

Reeking Slug played Sludge Saturday at the Audio Nerd in Rocklin, CA to a sold out show. On April 28, 2025, Reeking Slug opened for the legendary band, EYEHATEGOD at Cypress in Reno, NV.

Reeking started the recording process of their first EP at the beginning of 2025 with Singular Path Audio. On June 28, 2025, their first single, Ocean Implosion was released and on July 16, 2025, Reeking Slug unleashed their first EP, We are the Wave.
